Camp Can-Aqua has been making maple syrup since 1988 and has evolved from a traditional operation of 30 taps on buckets, boiling in a turkey pan, to thousands and thousands of taps on pipeline. Not only do we consider our selves a manufacturer with integrity, but we are also the Ontario distributor for Dominion and Grimm.

 

Our present operation is very modern, using vacuum on the pipeline, reverse osmosis to concentrate the sap before boiling in a 4′x14′ oil fired evaporator. All of our equipment is selected to insure we are making the highest quality, purest maple product.

We started selling supplies and equipment in 1992 and continue to carry a large inventory of the most common supplies and equipment the hobbyist or commercial producer might need. Camp Can-Aqua services producers in the Bancroft / Haliburton / Barry’s Bay and surrounding areas. We cater to the needs of small and large producers providing constructive advice at all stages. Our maple syrup business works in perfect harmony to our summer camp programs. Money from the sale of every bottle of Can-Aqua Pure goes to our subsidy foundation, which strives to send kids to camp who, without our support, would not otherwise be able to attend.
